So, I've only been good for about 1 post every two - three weeks these days. Just staying busy with the Olympics. 1 week to go, and hopefully things will slow down just a bit. So, I've been hanging out touring the East Coast this past month. We went down
to the Outer Banks a couple of weeks ago, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, NC. That was cool...really nice beach houses that you rent for the week...right on the beach. My family spent some time down there when I was 16, and it's a blast...not as many tourists as here in VA Beach.

Last weekend, we drove up to Washington DC. We went to dinner with some of Joanie's friends and Stephanie Eberhardt. Had a good time and stayed near the White House. Joanie has a lot of details on her blog, so read there if you need to know more.
This weekend, we're just chillin...I've got a client coming in tomorrow night from across the pond, and then we'll probably hit up the beach at some point this weekend. There's been terrible, quick thunderstorms every day this week, and I think it's supposed to carry
through the weekened.

July 12th
What a crazy past 2 weeks. I'm back from Europe for 6 days, and then Joanie and I tied the knot last Sunday, July 6th. We were in Texas visiting family anyway, so we went ahead and gave our
parents 2-days notice, and did it. It worked out perfectly. We had just enough people there....30 or so, and it was a perfect day down at Ingram lake. We were married on the waterfront next to the dock that I built with my Dad and Luke.
JZ, my cousin, was our minister (yes, it's legal), and Luke, my cousin, and Kara, Joanie's best friend, were the Best Man/Maid of Honor.

The weather was perfect, not 100 degrees like it is in Texas now, with a 5 min rain shower, and then a rainbow.
That was on Sunday...we actually flew into Texas on Thursday, went to Frank Keller's funeral, then visited Stamford for a couple of days. We hit up the Texas Cowboy Reunion like we did last year. Joanie's family has a box for the event every year.
We ate a great chuckwagon lunch that weekend...there is a competition from all of the local area ranches of who can cook the best, and most authentic, chuck wagon meal. The menu that day was chicken fried steak, potatoes, beans, etc...and it was excellent.
We hit up the rodeo that night, Saturday night with Jason, Sarah, Danny, and Jana. Then the dance afterwards.
Well, I'm back in Va Beach now, working, and getting ready for football season. My Aunt, Uncle and cousins, the Greenbergs, are coming over shortly, and we're gonna hit the beach today. Afterwards, I'm cooking up some Venison and Beef Fajitas, a pot of Beans, and Mac and Cheese.
