We had the Texas Hunt Lodge Employee Retreat this past weekend. Justin, Sandy, Gracey, Richard, Lisa, Hardy, Becky, Joanie, Viola and I stayed in a house on the Beach in Port Aransas. We had a blast on the beach, ate some good food, and relaxed. Richard won the 1st Annual THL Bocci Ball Tournament.

Not much new going on around the Bulkley Casa these days. Viola is getting bigger, learning new words every week. We had a family easter gathering yesterday at the Lodge and Lake. It didn't get over 85 degrees, but we jumped in the Water regardless

I'm gearing up for South Africa again in June. I'm heading over to hunt a Leopard with my Crossbow. I'd like to tag a few monkeys, baboons and warthogs as well while I'm there, but we'll see what time permits. I'm heading over June 19th to return July 2nd.

We bought Joanie a new car for her 30th Birthday. She liked her Ford Edge, but we upgraded to a 2011 Nissan Murano.

It has been a very long time since I've blogged...fortunately, we've been very busy with our businesses and growing exponentially. Last month, we moved into the house I grew up in, my folks old place. I completely redesigned the exterior and upgraded all the rooms inside. We now have a 5500 sq ft home with hot tub, decks, outdoor bar, huge room for Viola, etc.

Viola is 15 months tomorrow, and will finally start Day-Care 2 days per week, so that Joanie has a break to help me out in the office. She's growing like a weed...her new word she learned yesterday is "Hello"...she walks around like she's talking on the phone and says "hello" again and again....she also likes the word "shoes"...

We've completely redesigned the waterfront as well...we dug out 12 ft of silt down to the river bottom, and now have a huge retaining wall. We will have the best swimming and fishing hole on the entire lake next month when they plug the dam again.
